Problems with Twonky Server + Samsung TV

Hello everybody, excuse me if this question might sound stupid but I´m pretty lost. I read the thread below in which zbug on Mon Jul 05, 2010 9:14 am reported problems on streaming MKV to a Samsung TV. I have a similar problem but not only with MKV.
My brand new QNAP TS 459 Pro (latest firmware installed) with the built-in Twonky apparently does stream via DLNA certain formats such as MP3 and JPG, it also does stream standard-resolution movies (AVI-files). But it apparently does NOT stream HD movies (AVI, MKV) or DIVX files.
Here are the details:
Receiver of the streamed media is a brand new Samsung HD TV – model 8700. NAS is a brand new QNAP TS 459 Pro. Firmware been updated to latest version, UpnP enabled etc. And the NAS has a built-in Twonky Media Server, which I configured.
The Twonky on my NAS streams fine all my JPG pictures and also some standard-resolution movies in AVI etc.
But it looks like it does not stream HD files (e.g. AVI or MKV containers). It also appears not to stream divx files. E.g. I recently downloaded that tiny DIVX video from vod.divx.com needed to register the TV to play DivX VOD content. Twonky obviously did not stream it (the Samsung TV said it was an inappropriate format) – but when I copy it on a USB device and plug that into my TV, the TV works well with it. The TV should also work well with AVI HD / MKV container – but apparently does not if I try to stream these from the NAS.
Anybody an idea what I should do? Or maybe it is not the Twonky but something else ?
