Hi,

I know it has been discussed in an epic way already but:
Is there any working solution for TMS 6.x around that converts FLAC to WAV for non-FLAC compatible devices on the fly?
If yes I'd love to see where or, better, a how-to.
If not, why?
It really works like a charm under TMS 5.x and I think most people consider FLAC as a real good alternative to WAV or MP3 (since storage becomes cheaper and cheaper and WAV not supporting tags like FLAC does).
And I can't see why this (unsupported) feature was "deleted" in version 6.

Maybe someone from development can shed some light on this (all I know that apparently they have changed code that "deleted" this feature).

Yes, this should be priority 1 to fix.

I'm pretty sure it worked on a "pirated" Twonky server version 4.4.4 I tried.
Then I decided to be honest and buy a license and ended up getting a non working FLAC support. I'm flabbergasted

After som "education" I have the sollution and it's to transcode the flac on the fly to wav. Most players doesn't decode flac. Sorry for having preconceived thoughts in other posts before this one.
