I have a small mp3 collection and the id3 tags are well formated. I use mainly the following fields:
artist
band
albumartist
sortorder
itunescompilation
In most cases, artist, band and albumartist are the same, where often sortorder differs, e.g. artist, band and albumartist are "Eric Clapton" and sortorder is "Clapton, Eric".
1: Is this field sortorder ignored by Twonky? On my WDTVlive and in a normal browser, whe i broswe the Interpret/album link, all albums from Eric Clapton are sorted under "E" and not under "C".
2: If B.B.KIng plays a song with Eric Clapton, the artist field looks like "Eric Clapton / B.B. King", where albumartist and band are "Eric Clapton". When i browse interpret/album, i expect to find Eric Clapton and not Eric Clapton / B.B. King as it does.
3. After a few weeks, my id3 tags are corrupt and the albumartist field is filled with "LBUMARTIST", "BUMARTIST" and so on and i did not alter the id3 tags manually (and no client is alolowed too to do this). Who or what changes the id3 tags?
4. What is the main thing, which influences title sorting by twonky? Is it the track id field or is it the real filename.
e.g. i have three files, called
222 First Song
333 Second song
111 Third song
where 222 hast the track id 1, 333 has 2 and 111 has 3, in which order will it be streamed, if i play the whole album.
5. Does it make a difference in sorting which song streams before the other, if i make the track id3tag field
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,......
or
01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09,10,11
when it comes in the twentys or above?
6. Is it possible to use a "continuos play" field tag or option on some albums like iTunes. Classical albums with more than one track do have a pause after each track where i want there to be none.
