subtitle (.srt) works or not ? NOT !

hi,
i try different version of the server : 5.1.6 and 6.0.28
but i didn't show subtitle
i try with a video file called A.avi and a subtitle file called A.srt, same directory
nothing !
anyone can say me how subtitle works with twonkyserver
i try html/flash media browser in the config page of server, too, nothing!
thank's too much to anyone is so kind to explain me an howto
