Hi,
need to beg again at a seperate thread. Since you recently fixed MKV streaming with Samsung TV with latest version, it would be nice if paying NAS users of twonky would be able to download it.... Cant be that hard to get out a NAS ready version. Should be a matter of 1-2 hours for all platforms if you have proper build scripts.
Thanks
Marc

Seems to be a major issue to get those NAS ports out of the door
Can someone from Twonky comment on this? Whats the problem here? You cant tell me that you dont have build scripts which make versions for all your supported devices....

I got frustrated that we weren't getting an answer to this so I PM'd one of the Twonky people on this forum. He has replied and once again requested that the builds are made available by the developers. We will have to be patient but at least now we know that they have been asked for.logemann wrote:still waiting. Still no response... Bad support no matter what. Also waiting on a Kirkwood build of 6.0.28. I'm starting to feel nervous about this, there seems to be no answers on availability, and the 6.1 alpha is Win/Mac/x86 Linux. I am wondering if it's the end of the line for NAS builds.
I really hope not, but that's the vibe I am getting right now.
I have no use whatsoever for desktop server versions, I want always on, lower power Twonky server.

Re: Please update NAS port to 6.0.28 cause of MKV / Samsung TV
I have bought the license and therefore i expect the same kind of support as other paying customers which are using Win32 or Mac builds. And the very least thing you can expect is some kind of response on such a thread. The ignorance is quite annoying.
Sooner or later people will ask manufacturers of NAS devices to put some other kind of software on their devices because twonky treat customers in a bad way. I have no problems waiting for releases, but i have problems with not even responding on quite easy to answer issues like this one. I am owner of a software company and i really can say that this kind of performance is just not acceptable.
But why do i write this? It will get ignored anyway. Time is better spent in checking alternatives and if that means buying a new NAS devices... then it might be worth it....
