TV MediaPlayer only plays first 5 seconds of Video

Hi all, I am new to the forum and have jsut purchased a Panasonic TX-P42GT20B Telivision with Viera Cast Media Player. I have updated the TV with the latest firmwear update and installed TonkyServer onto my PC. I can see the PC in the media player view all of my Vidos (mainly TV series downloads) but when i play them they only play for 5-7 seconds before stopping. Does anyone one have any idea how i resolve this?
