Won't Load Config Page After Install

I just bought a new Yamaha receiver RXA1000 that I am trying to setup with Twonkyserver via my IMAC running OSX 10.4.11.
After downloading and installing the Twonky 6.0.28 for Mac file, I cannot get the config program to load thru my browser. I have entered the default address... http://127.0.0.1:9000 ....as well as the IP address specific to my computer plus :9000. The IMAC is part of my wireless home network, but is not hooked directly to the router. Am I missing something stupidly obvious? Would appreciate any advice you can give!
