Hi,
since several years, i am runnig Twonky Server on a Linksys NSLU2 and later on a Ubuntu Server.
I missed several updates and further developments. At the moment I use version 4.4.3.1. Are there any advantages if I upgrade?? Twonky 4.x runs fine, no errors or problems with clients.
Are there new killing features?
Many thanks in advance for your answers.
Klaus
Upgrade from 4.4.3.1 to 6.0
Re: Upgrade from 4.4.3.1 to 6.0
I used to run a 4.x on a NAS, and recently "upgraded" to 6.0 running on a linux server - I put "upgraded" in quotes, since several configuration options are removed, and the product overall seems less capable and less stable.
My recommendation is to stay with 4.x at this point, and then come back when Twonky has gotten their act together again.
(Perhaps around a 6.1 or 6.2 release)
