Streaming radio comes with a silence avery 20 seconds

I sometimes listen to internet radio on my Linn. It all seems to work well. But today I listened to a Dutch station (radio 2) and it has every 20 seconds or so a silencegap. Which is a pity because I like to listen to the top-2000.
Other stations don't have this problem.
When I switch to this Radio 2 station with the browser on my laptop there's also nothing wrong. So the problem seems to be the the NAS or Twonky . Searching on internet learns me that I should choose for lower rate. Any idea how I can do this?
