I have a stupid question:
What's transcoding? I have stored all my music in ALAC on Twonky. When I activate transcoding to MP3 are my ALAC-files replaced by MP3-files?
My current problem is: I have one Sony-Media-Player, which has problems with ALAC. All other media-players are fine with ALAC. I want to keep the ALAC-quality for all the other players and want to play the same music at Sony, too.
Is there an elegant solution for this problem?
What's transcoding?
Re: What's transcoding?
They are not replaced but a copy is made in mp3 format which is then served to a player that can't the ALAC files.
