playing 'directory' in pc media browser (/webbrowse)

Post by betlit » Fri Jan 28, 2011 3:23 pm

hi all

i updated from twonky server 4.4 to 6.0.30 (the latter running now on a buffalo linkstation).

in 4.4 i was able to play an entire directory in the "pc media browser" by clicking on the blue 'play' symbol . twonky then generated an m3u file with all files in the directory.

in 6.0.30 this (neat!) feature seems to be absent.... the 'play'-symbol is still there, but the image tag is not inside a link-tag and serves no purpose...

anyone knows if this feature has to be activated first in some way? i did dig through config files and searched this forum with no result :(

greets

daniel

It went from v5 onwards. With v6 you can play a whole album from the Flash browser at /flash instead of /webbrowse.
