Hello everybody.
I use a PS3 to see home video taken from Upnp Twonky server.
On the PS3, all the video files show a "1/1/1900" date.
There is the possibility to know the exact tag to modify with mp3tag?
%date%, %time% doesn't work.
Any ideas? I know only that the PS3 use the standard 3gpp tags.
Thanks in advance

What I do is modify the "year" tag with mp3tag
But just the year wont work, you have to add it with a month and day
ex: "2010-01-01"
note:
I cant remember the exact year, but if the year is to old, something like 1930 or something, twonky will filter it correctly,
but the ps3 will not recognize its date as such, and will show it incorrectly
however when looking through the nav tree, you use the by year
the root container for the year that the ps3 cant recognize, the container does show the correct year
just not at the file level, hopefully this make sense

Re: MP4 tags on a PlayStation 3, Using mp3tag to tag mp4 vid
If you want to tag videos (MP4s) using mp3tag, may I suggest using my mp3tag Web Source Script and Actions...
Read this thread for instructions on how to setup and use the scripts and actions.
http://forums.mp3tag.de/index.php?showt ... st&p=48502
The most recent version of the scripts and actions can be found at the most bottom post.
The only pieces of information you'll manually have to enter are the title, and (if you wish) album art.
This works perfectly for me. I use TMS to stream to PS3, and the attributes show up as intended.
The script/actions also populate Apple XMLs, which means that all information will be properly viewed in iTunes (such as MPAA Rating, etc)...
EDIT: btw, the format for date that Twonky serves perfectly to PS3 is YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ssZ

FYI,
As I mentioned here (http://www.twonkyforum.com/viewtopic.ph ... dd8#p36257) mp3tag now supports the Rate tag for MP4 files!
Please donate to the author guys! This is great!
