Samsung LEDTV (UE32C6530UW) with Twonky 6.0.30

Is this problem of Samsung or Twonky ?
- TV says that "Unsuported file format" when playing MKV files
- TV says that "Unsuported file format" when playing AVI (codec MJPG) files
- No thumbnails for video files.
Have read somewhere that these problems are solved in new release?
Yesterday have hacked my Lacie NetworkSpace 2 NAS to update twonky from version 4.4.some to 6.0.30.
On PC with Twonky 6.0.30 same problems also.

Ups, MKV working - figured out that yesterday, that I need to select Samsung TV in device list.
AVI (MJPG) is still a problem - this format cames with videos saved from some photo camera and from Oregon Scientific Action Cam

Thanks for the feedback, we appreciate it.
The video thumbnails feature is not yet available in Twonkyserver 6.0 - it will be included in the upcoming 6.1 version.
As for the AVI problem, I just tried that MJPEG coded AVI files (created by an old Sony compact camera) work on the LE32C650 TV that I have here. Maybe there are variants of these files that twonky cannot recognize.
Have you tried to play the files directly from an USB stick attached to the TV? That would tell if the TV itself supports the file format. If the TV can play the file directly but not from twonkyserver, that would indicate it is a Twonky problem. In that case you can sends us an example file so that we can take a look at the problem. We have an anonymous FTP server for that purpose, as described in this post:

You were right. Indeed this is a problem of Samsung - it does not play file from USB.
No complains about twonky anymore
Great product ! Waiting for R6.1 with thumbnails.

Hi Ricardas,
I also just checked out your file, and indeed the samsung TV does not support your file.
In case somebody is interested, I found only one difference between my working files and this one that did not work: the frame rate. Your file has 30 frames per second, my files hadf 15fps.
