I have searched and cannot find any help on this. Im pretty resourceful so if I am posting here I am stumped. Im a paying customer and love the product, but...

I upgraded to 6.0.3 and since then my PS3 cannot see any of the content. The console can see the server, and TMS config page shows the console as a media reciever which is enabled and has a proper MAC. So it doesnt apprear to be network related.

All my other devices work fine, and there are several. Even my Directv HD DVR is playing all my content with transcoding on the fly via ffmpeg - this took a bit of work to get my 300+ divx movie library to play thru the DVR but I got it! So it appears there is nothing wrong with the server or its config.

I suspect it may have something to do with tree structure since all PMV, are showing either "Unsupported data" or "There are no files". I have tried changing the tree type assigned to the PS3 and rebuilt the DB several times but nothing worked.

I dont want to have to downgrade and will keep searching, but I will downgrade if that is the only solution. Thanks!

check the Media Receivers page on the config page
get you mac address of the ps3 and see if its being seen as a ps3
maybe its got the wrong assingment

Thanks. All receivers have been verified as correct, including the PS3. Correct MAC, detected and set as PS3 and I have tried all the tree views at this point and no change in status. I should also mention I have reset the database several times and also the PS3 can see the server in all three categories fine, they just come up empty.

For sanity sake
I would roll back to a previous version
and verify that works

if it does, it makes it a little easier to see whats wrong

if it doesnt, then ther may be something else going on

but when you do rolll back, and or try the newer version again
try not to make any changes to any ini files

the reason, is to help isolate where the problem might be

Having spent days on this and pulling what was left of my hair out I gave up after never finding a solution. Apparently noone else in the world is having this problem except me.

I rolled back to 6.0.1 and the PS3 can see all my media files and folders again. Oddly enough, same Ubuntu server, same directory and file permissions, same media, same config values... 6.0.1 always works, 6.0.3 never worked for my PS3.

So thats my solution for now, rollback. I will wait for the next release and hope for better luck or for someone to find the cause and perhaps a fix!
