Multiple Genre problem

TwonkyServer has a wonderful feature whereby you can code more than one genre against an object, and it will apear in multple places in the navigation tree. Which is absolutely fantastic, invaluable, and if only we could do that with more tags (e.g. Artist) the anyone with a large collection would be able to access their media in very flexible ways.
For those that didn't know about this feature, if you code a genre of say "Rock,Live" then the track will appear under both the Rock genre and the Live genre. So you can listen to all your Rock music regardless of whether it is live or studio, or listen to Live performances regardless of musical styles. I love this feature, don't ever let it go away.
However recently I've noticed that some files stay in a genre, long after I have changed the tag. So in the above example if I changed the genre to simply "Rock" then it stays in "Live" as well. Even if I blank out the genre entirely, it will remove it from Rock, but leave it in Live. It only seems to acknowledge the first genre when removing files from genres.
The only way I have found to clear up the erroneous listing is to rebuild the database.
