Twonky 4.4.17 suddenly very slow

I suddenly have a lot of problems with Twonky 4.4.17 on my Qnap TS-219. The result is sound drop-outs, especially it sometimes takes many seconds to go to the next track on my Linn DS.
I can browse the folders in Windows explorer and open the Qnap software page (http://10.x.x.x:8080/cgi-bin/index.cgi) without any speed problems. Very often when I try to open the TwonkyVision Configuration page (http://10.x.x.x:9000/) it takes a very long time to load. So I don't think my network is the problem.
I've tried to rebuild the server. I've also tried different Qnap firmware and even Twonky 6.0.30 without any success. I need help!
