my content scanning 2000 videofiles finished in round about 5 minutes.
the "+" bevore my path i think is the add sign. But now this sign change to a "t" and the twonkyserver service uses 90% of CPU and i dont know waht he does. The yount of my files ist the count of the real files.
can someone explain this ?

So your saying you see the "t" in the web config next to a share in the sharing section
and that you say it used to show a "+" sign there ?
I have never seen that either of those there
But I have seen the "+" used in the twonkymedia-server.ini file
For ex:
# CSV list of all shares, prepended by the type (A,M,P,V) and a '+' or '-' sign to flag enabled or disabled shares
contentdir=+M|C:\My Music,+P|C:\My Pictures,+V|C:\My Videos

I usually notice that during a scan
On the web config under server status
right below cahce memory
it will say scanning []......
once completed that will change to Last database change: with the time
are the [] looking like a "t" to you?

I think I saw this - combined with a veeery long scanning time - when I first started a new version which builds up a new database. Not when scanning all files for the first time, but afterwards, when all the files are already available, Twonky seems to thoroughly scan ripped DVDs / VOB files and MPEGs. Maybe it tries to gather deeper information eg. DVD menu structure on the files, but I have been seeing this behavior for a long time now.
HTH,
