easing Twonky Server updates on OSX

Post by alain.schmit » Tue Apr 19, 2011 10:24 am

On OSX all support files of Twonky server are located under the .app folder tree. Each time a new version is installed everything is overwritten, including any customisations made in the ini files or conversion .desc files... :?

Normally under OSX the Apps store their support files under <username>/Library/Application Support/<appname>. During an upgrade, the application only overwrite there new or changed support files NOT MODIFIED by the user... so all customisations are not lost each time....

Twonky server is great and I hope this will be taken into account in a future version for mac...

Sorry for my bad english

This is good feedback. I'll make sure our Mac developers see this.

Your English is very good. :D
