Where's the pause button?

Greetings all!

I've been playing with a couple of media servers and so far Twonky has worked rather flawlessly for most things so far. What I don't get is why I am unable to pause a video file that I was watching.

After doing a search for 'video pause' on the forums, which resulted in a ton of Samung-related issues, I saw only one post that _may_ be related to pause not working for files over 1hr48mins or some such. Seemed rather odd. Not to mention a simple manual for should have been obvious but apparently not.

The movie is in an AVI format and is 2hrs08min long.

While I can just as easily browse the mapped drive to the folder, and play the file that way, it kind defeats the point of having Twonky installed.

Did I miss some sort of FAQ somewhere?

If you cannot pause then it is the media player that cannot do the pause. Twonky is just serving chunks of the file requested by the media player. If ther media player forgets where it is at (and some do) then there is nothing Twonky can do to correct the problem.

Although you can watch videos from the TwonkyServer browser page, it's not ideal. For better results, try playing and controlling your media from any DLNA-certified player or software like TwonkyManager or TwonkyMobile. All of these have working pause buttons.
