Problems while displaying photos on DLNA Client

Post by dschirr » Sun May 08, 2011 6:54 pm

Hallo,

i want to display my photos on the TV via a Sony Blue Ray Player S-480 or an Popcorn A-210.
Both devices (I tried althoug a LG BD 390, same effect) display some photos . The photos are above 3.5 MB and have a resolution of 4592x2576 (16:9). On the tv screen the photos do not fit the screen and look like photos with a poor resolution.

Normaly I use a Buffalo Linkstation live as NAS. On this NAS I am running twonky (6.23 and 6.32). But I tried as well the twonky server on my Samsung Netbook. Same effect. The feature "transcoding", no effect.

If I display the photo via the Popcorn A-210 direct from the NAS, the photo is perfect.

All devices are connect to a gigabit switch. In the clients.db the resolution JPEG1920x1080 is listed.

So what is wrong?

Please help.

Thanx

Dirk
