Hi all,
I tried to add an internet radio station to my Twonky music playlist with an new playlist-file (m3u and pls).
Both ways doesnt work with my DLNA Samsung TV and the integrated MediaPlayer of Samsung.
My pls-file lookes like:
[playlist]
numberofentries=1
File1=http://76.10.222.237:8082
Title1=(#1 - 204/750) ActiveRadio.US HITS
Length1=-1
Version=2
With vlc everything works great, but the Samsung Player don't accept this file - but the Shoutcast radiostations of Twonky works fine.
How can I add a new station to the Shoutcast-station list auf Twonky?
Thanks
HaBiMuc

That URL is streaming AAC+ audio. Does your Samsung TV support that audio codec?

It's a SAMSUNG LE 32 B650 - on SAMSUNG HP i found the spec of music - Codecs as follows:
AC3, LPCM, ADPCM (MULAWALAW), ACC, HE-AAC, DD+
ACC is not ACC+ - isn't it ?
How can I change the m3u / pls file info to stream correct codecs?
Thanx

You can't. That station only broadcasts an AAC+ audio stream.How can I change the m3u / pls file info to stream correct codecs?
Look here for the details about this radio stream- http://www.shoutcast.com/Internet-Radio/activeradio.us
If your Samsung TV cannot decode and play an AAC+ audio stream then there is not much you can do.
Only option is to ask them to also broadcast an MP3 stream. Most media players will play an MP3 stream.

Hi parnott,
thank you for your instructions. I don't believe, that the radio station will support another codecs, but I will try it.
