Wrong file association?

Post by chrisdude » Sun Jun 19, 2011 12:20 pm

Dear people,

I have a Philips Streamium mci8080 with the Twonky mediaserver (1.3.0.101 / 5.1.2) and wanted to check for updates/upgrades in the 'settings menu'.

But when I click 'check for upgrades' or 'check for updates', a webpage is opened in Microsoft Word is instead of my browser. Atleast, I suppose that my browser should open?
And then the storys end, because from MS Word I can't do anything.

I tried al kinds of options: (HTML)file association in Windows, checking file association in my Registery, but they all refer to my browser which is good. And still when I hit the update-button, Ms Word is opened. Twonky is the only problem with this problem on my PC btw.

Any clue how to correct this?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

I believe that the problem you mentioned has been corrected in the newest versions of Twonky software. I'm also pretty sure that we've provided sofware updates to Philips, but we're still waiting for them to update their CDs and site.

In the meantime, here is the download page that you should have been taken to:

In the link above doesn't work, you can get a similar version of updated Twonky software here:
