I have some issues with High Resolution flac files downloaded from hdtracks.com
I play them with my T+A Music Player MKII. Everything works fine so far (plays and sounds great), except a few issues with displaying the progress of a track and Bit Rate Information
1). When Playing a high resolution track in flac format, the progress bar in the display of my Music Player moves much slower. In fact, the track is already over, but the progress bar is still in first half.
When playing normal CD Resolution Tracks in flac format, everything is fine (Progress Bar and Track Time Information are synchronized).
2.) The Bit Rate Information of HD Resolution Tracks is always wrong.
All 24/96 Tracks (4096kbps) are always shown with a Bitrate of 3072kbps.
Again, It works fine with normal CD Resolution Tracks (1411kbps).
The T+A Music Player is recognized by the twonky media server.
Is this something you can fix?
Equipment:
T+A Music Player MKII (Software Version: P 1.40 21/06/11)

I could be wrong, but it seems to me like the problems you're seeing are client-related and not server-related. That means your player is likely the problem. You might want to post this on the forum for your player and see if they are willing to fix this.

Hi Rick
Thanks for your reply.
I checked with the guys from T+A and they asked me to do a quick test with a USB Drive directly connected to the T+A MusicPlayer (no server in between). All HD Tracks are identified correctly (Bitrate etc.). It looks like there is nothing to fix on the Music Player Side.
This is maybe something Twonky could improve in a future release?
Best regards
Marc
