TwonkyMedia Server 5.1.7: disable temp playlists?

Hi,
I have installed TMS 5.1.7 on my thecus N3200Pro yesterday.
On the Server status page in the web interface I can see the following under last change:

[+...]r/twonkymedia/db/1680_temp_playlist.wpl

This runs for nearly 2 hours now, CPU load on my NAS is at 100 % constantly...

What are these temporary playlists for? Do I really need them?
And - most important - how can i disable the creation of these playlists?

This is not a common problem. Not sure what is causing this.

I've asked an engineer if he has any suggestions for you. I suspect this issue has been addressed in TS 6.0, but I don't know when Thecus plans to make that update available.

A comment from one of our engineers... (Thanks Burkhard!)

these wpl files are generated by the file scanner for each customer playlist file detected during the initial scan. We once had a problem on Mac where these playlists were recursively added over and over again. The customer should make sure that the database, cache and temp directories of TwonkyServer are not located inside a shared directory. Also using symbolic links for one of these directories could cause such problems.
