Hello all,

I tried to search the forum for a solution for my problem but nothing really fit my issue (or I did not find the right post). As I am a newbie to ths forum - please apologize if I am not yet so used to the forum search.
I can stream 16:9 AVI files in correct ratio to my TV but not 16:9 MKV files. The MKV files are shown in 4:3 ratio.
Is there a way to tweak the clients.db to let MKV files being streamed correctly?

I am currently using twonky 6.0.28 as I got auto rotation fpr JPEGs to work with that release. My Samsung is a UE46C7090.

Any idea is appreciated as I am not willing to convert all my MKVs to AVI :-)

Cheers,

No, Twonky cannot tweak anything. It just streams the files as is. If you are having aspect ratio problems with your files then-
1) The MKV files are encoded incorrectly (e.g. incorrect aspect ratios)
2) Your media player is not capabable of displaying the files correctly
3) The MKV files were meant to be displayed in 4:3

press the 'tools' button on the remote of your TV.

scroll down to 'picture size' and select either 'mode 1' or 'mode 2'

that should fix your problem. I have to do it sometimes with my own TV
