Browsing from Samsung TV - Video, Music and Pictures

Post by mcartmel » Fri Jun 08, 2012 1:43 am

Hi all

I have a Samsung UA46D7000 browsing a QNAP TS-412 running Twonky 6.0.38.

All is working well but when I browse from my Samsung TV I pick the 'Video' icon and then get presented with a 'Video', 'Photos' and 'Music' folder selection. Is there a way to make it jump straight into 'Video' and avoid the extra step?

It works exactly this way with a MiniDLNA box that I also have running.

Cheers,
Michael

There may be a way to do this by customizing some XML, but I'm not sure it's worth the amount of effort required. I agree this is annoying, but I've gotten used to it and it now no longer bothers me.
