LG WebOS 2.0 Flac problem

Post by LinuxfarmerHH » Sun Oct 29, 2017 2:28 pm

My LG-TV with WebOS 2.0 do play .flac files from USB or internet, but their smartshare app dislike these file and do not show them up. Glad that i have the twonkyserver 8.4.1 on my NAS that should be able to transcode my .flac music files to .wav for the LG.

Setup and install for flac, description and location was set up very easy. But the 8.4.1 twonky also need some changes in the devicedb file for LG-TV, what serve .flac as .flac. Is there any howto or readme, how to advise twonky to transcode .flac to .wav for this device?

[/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/TwonkyServerEU/resources/devicedb/LG] # ls
LG_Device.xml LG_Music_Flow.xml

Here is a list but .flac is not suppressed, the TV cant handle that.

<MimeTypeSuppress>image/tiff</MimeTypeSuppress>
<MimeTypeSuppress>image/bmp</MimeTypeSuppress>
<MimeTypeSuppress>image/gif</MimeTypeSuppress>
<MimeTypeSuppress>image/png</MimeTypeSuppress>

What changes are required here?
