Sony KDL-46W5100 Audio Problem

I am running the TV with a Sony AV receiver.
Have anyone seen a case where playing a movie, the audio being sent to the AV Rcvr via the audio out on the TV drops out for a sec. It is then reaquired by the AV Rcvr and goes on.
This does not happen if I run the same movie.vob file through a HTPC running XBMC to the TV. So I am thinking it has to do with the TV stripping the audio off the feed and sending it to the AV Rcvr.
