Hi I have tried to setup my Samsung LCD TV LA40B650TF1 to run of DLNA but Twonky does not seem to recognise it or the QNAP Nas on the network. The TV does pick up my laptop and mobile phone automatically over the network. I have tried turning off firewall, using Samsung PCshare manager all to know avail. I have also tried running Twonky 4.4.17 and 5.1.15 with no luck. Twonky just doesn't recognise the TV or NAS. Can anyone assist on how to set this up please as I have tried nearly everything. I am also working with the QNAP technicians who are now saying it may be Twonky issue and not their device.
Also I can't find possible solutions on this foruma and those that are similar I have also tried with no luck.

Have you set the ip parameter in your ini file so that Twonky only binds to the actual ip address of the QNAP and not the loopback address as well. I'm sure I've seen that given as a solution to the NAS/Twonky not being seen on a network. I have a LE37B650 BTW with TMS running on a NAS so it does work when set up right.
Try http://<<ip-of-QNAP>>:9000/rpc/set_option?ip=<<ip-of-QNAP>> to set it without having to edit the ini file manually.
