I have dowloaded Twonky Manager and followed the steps to install. However, TV does not show up in TM nor does TM show up as a renderer or server on TV. Am I missing a step? All the topics I read seem to make this easy but I am a newby with servers and media streaming.

Make sure your software firewall isn't blocking TwonkyManager or its Control Point. If you're running the normal Windows Software firewall this is normally not a problem. I mention this in case you're running security software like an anti-virus with it's own firewall.
A while back I made a post about how to enable Bravia TVs so they appear in the Play Here section of Manager. You might want to look into this as well.
