Flashing the MP101 with Twonky

Is it possible to flash the Netgear MP101 using the Twonky Server software or will i need to install the rubbish netgear software which i had no luck with anyway?

I don't know another way - except installing TwonkyVision 2.x
Is there a new update for the MP101 available?
