Hi.
I have tested it on the latest firmware as well as some older versions. The package provided does not run on a DG834GT. It has been compiled with a newer version of ulibc which the netgear cannot run. The kernel and ulibc was updated in the 1.02.09 firmware release but twonkyvision will not run on it still.
I have tried:
-Using wget
-Flashing a firmware with it built in to no avail.
I request that you build it with http://rapidshare.com/files/55364099/ch ... r.bz2.html . This toolchain will work with the latest 1.02.09 firmware.

TwonkyVision Does Not Run On The NetGear DG834GT
Mine works well sort of.
I have a Netgear DG834GT. a MacBook running 10.4.10 and a PS3 with the latest firmware. Using Twonky Media 4.4 wireless with my set-up.
I can connect to my macbook from my ps3 and see the files I can play my mp4 movies, it takes about 20 seconds to buffer then the movie starts. then i get a message top left corner of screen my server has been disconnected. the movies stalls then carrys on a few seconds later another message another stall, this carrys on for a few minutes before totalling giving up. I have tried a couple of other broadcast channels on my wireless settings. no success.
Not sure if this is better or worse than it not working at all.

DG834 Serves up Media?
Hi there,
I'm new to the Twonky scene, and was wondering how Twonky actually works on a router like the Netgear DG834GT. Does it have to be used in conjunction with a PC or NAS also running Twonky? Or can it somehow serve up the media to a receiving device (eg PS3)?
