Audio/ Video Synchronization problems - EVA700

I have got a Netgear EVA 700 set up and working using Twonky Media over a wired network, not wireless.
Its primary purpose is to watch Media Center recorded programmes on my 1080p HD TV.
The HD picture quality is excellent and the sound quality is fine too - I just cannot get them to synch. Mostly because there are not any apparent settings to adjust for this. Is anyone able to assist please?
