Will Twonky work with a Kiss DP-558?

I'm trying to find a positive confirmation on the net that Twonky can work with a Kiss DP-558. I have so far found some reports saying that Twonky will work with a Kiss DP-600 and since neither the DP-600, nor the DP-558 supports UPNP, I felt that there was a tiny bit of hope that a solution could be cooked up to make my Infrant ReadyNAS NV+ serve media files to my DP-558. Could anyone please let me know if they have tried to setup such a solution and positively failed, so I can quit agonizing about whether to buy another media player or not?

Twonky on Infrant works great on DP-600 and 1600 since both have UPnP. It will not work on the 558 because that player does not have UPnP. If you want to play content from your Infrant on a 558, map the Infrant drives to your PC and use PC-Link.
