NAS200 - can't access media server

Post by ice9v2 » Tue Jan 22, 2008 5:26 am

It shows up under UPNP but when I hit it I get the following red-screen error:

"Access is restricted to MediaServer configuration!"

I've disabled the media server and re-enabled, installed the beta firmware for the NAS200, etc. etc.

I see by browsing the forum that if I can get to the twonkyvision ini that I may be able to fix things but I have not been able to find it on the Nas200 drive...

The built-in Twonky on the NAS200 is crippled; it has a web server but the pages aren't installed because Linksys wants you to use THEIR configuration webpages. Makes sense because that way all the software on the NAS200 agrees on what the file shares are and who the users are.

Check out this thread to install my modified firmware and the latest Twonky from the website: http://www.linksysinfo.org/forums/showt ... hp?t=57066
