Linksy NSLU2 Debian Lenny Twonky 4.4 error

Post by edwintenh » Tue Nov 11, 2008 4:04 pm

Hello,

recently upgraded my nslu2 to Debian Lenny.
After this I wanted to try Twonkymusic but I'm unable to get it running.

I'm using the arm little endian package (http://www.twonkyvision.com/Download/4. ... dia-armel-
glibc-2.2.5.zip)

Followed the instruction but I keep getting the same error "/usr/local/TwonkyVision/twonkymedia: No such file or directory"

Can anyone help me with this problem ?!?

I copied this from my website. I hope it will help you (its german only):

* Der Inhalt des Zip-Files kommt nach /usr/local/TwonkyVision
* CHMOD 700 auf alle twonky* Dateien im Hauptverzeichnis
* CHMOD 700 auf alle Dateien im cgi-bin Verzeichnis
* CHMOD 700 auf alle Dateien im plugins Verzeichnis
* Die Datei twonkymedia.sh nach /etc/init.d kopieren
* /etc/init.d/twonkymedia.sh editieren (IP-Adresse deines Servers angeben!)

Suchen nach:
echo -n "Starting $TWONKYSRV ... "
$TWONKYSRV -D -inifile "${INIFILE}"
rc_status -v

Ersetzen mit:
echo -n "Starting $TWONKYSRV ... "
$TWONKYSRV -D -ip 192.168.1.2 -inifile "${INIFILE}"
rc_status -v
Jetzt noch folgenden Befehl ausführen:

* update-rc.d twonkymedia.sh defaults

Nach einem Neustart der Slug sollte der Server gestartet sein und kann via http://192.168.1.2:9000/configpage konfiguriert werden.

I have Lenny too. I recall finding information to install buffalo linkstation pro or home-version. That is working for my 4.4.6 version
