Error wit NTDLL.DLL, Service not running (long)

Hi,
I first tried to install the 4.4.4 on a WIndows Server 2003, but the service always stopped with an error in NTDLL.DLL. So I tried again with a WIndows XP Pro, but with the same result. Cannot get the service stable. Please help.
