Try Firefox, if you haven't already. Make sure you don't have pop-up blocking software.

We think this issue has now been resolved. Let me know if your still seeing it with TS 7.0.5.

I got the same problem.

I'm using firefox and have disabled the popup blocker. No success.
Firefox is opens a new blank Window/tab.

Manual installation didn't solve the problem.

Any other suggestions?

maybe while you're at it you could explain to the tech people who answer emails the problem
I keep been told to reinstall and use my serial key. it's like they don't know the product they are supporting

I've even sent screen shots and I've been told that I should sign up on http://my.twonky.com/ but that still doesn't solve the
problem of can't register the machine to the twonky network :(

I've also tried Firefox and IE but both failed, I don't want to try the manual install as I've got the server working perfectly other then this one option and I've hate to break it as I don't have real access only ssh

I've been told that we found and fixed the problem described above in TwonkyServer 7.0.6. TwonkyServer 7.0.6 is not yet available, but should be available soon. Once 7.0.6 is available you can update to the new version.

In the meantime, I'm told that you can solve the problem by installing the current TwonkyServer manually (use the .zip-file not the .sh-script). Before the new installation you have to go to /var/TwonkyServer (when executed as root) or to ~/.twonky/TwonkyServer (when executed as user) and delete the twonkyserver.ini-file.

These directions appear a little vague to me, so if this doesn't work for you, you'll have to wait until the official version of 7.0.6 appears.

I'm looking into your issue as well.

Here is what I've been told.

1. You won't be able to enter your license key for Twonky 7.0 on Linux until TS 7.0.7 is released. (This was reported here earlier).

2. If you want to enter a license key for Twonky 7, you'll have to download a special version from here: http://twonky.com/products/twonkywindows/downloads.aspx

3. You cannot enter a license key with the version from here: http://my.twonky.com/user/download
