Hello everyone. I recently constructed a NAS and am running openmediavault as the OS (which is based off of debain jessie). I recently installed twonky on it since I've been using it for quite some time an another NAS that I have. Anyhow, when I go to choose my shared folder, some folders (including the one containing my media) do not show up.
The path I'm looking to share is "/srv/dev-disk-by-id-ata-SAMSUNG_HN-M750MBB_S2R9J1MB500651-part1", however, the /srv folder isn't seen by twonky. Can anyone tell me what I could be doing wrong, or if this is something silly like a permission issue. I'm rather inexperienced with linux so I could be very well doing something wrong or have misconfigured something along the way I suppose. Thanks in advance.
Twonky not seeing all folders when choosing "Shared Folders"
Re: Twonky not seeing all folders when choosing "Shared Folders"
I have got the very same issue with my new home-brewed NAS that Twonky does not see the /srv directory. I double-checked access rights, but anyway, other application can access the directory structure an files under /srv very well.
I used to run Twonky on a Cubietruck for quite a long time and never experienced such a situation.
Did you (or anybody else) meanwhile find a solution.
