TM v4.4 does not follow symlinks

My installation was working until v4.2.1 I upgraded today to the last version v4.4, now TM is not following symlinks, is this a known problem?
TM is installed in OpenSuSE 10.2.
I am almost done with TM I cant "play" with it anymore, bored of debugging a non finished product, I just want to play media.

It seems this was not a direct symlink problem, I removed my DB and let TM recreate it now it scanned through the symlinks but no radio stations found!!!
No help needed here, I am done at least for now with it.
