Ext2 to Xbox360

Hello,
I have just purchased a NAS device that will only run a ext2 or ext3 file system "IB-NAS4200-B" Galaxy http://www.galaxymetalgear.com/Products ... R_pro.html
I wasn't aware of this, then after learning that these are linux's file systems was a surprise. Because the only thing I know about linux is how to spell it. My question is will Twonky still stream media to my xbox 360 even though it is on a different file structure?
Sorry if this question is to simple but maybe this will be my excuse to start learning linux. Any advise is welcome.
