Configuration of TwonkyMedia Server 5.0.40

Post by mediafalk » Mon Dec 29, 2008 8:56 pm

I just bought the TwonkyMedia Server 5.0.40 for Linux (Suse 10.1). From the announcement I understand, the linux version is capable of all the features of the Media Manager - except the frontend. Features are e.g. Internet Radio, link to Adobes Photoshop album etc.
I don't really need a GUI for configuration, but I definitely have no idea how to configure the TMS under linux .... e.g.:

Internet Radio:
I like to add my own radio stations. With former versions of TMS there has been a possibility to add radio station by just configure them in a playlist. I tried almost everything, but the TMS 5 does not take my radio playlists (but it does read my mp3 playlists).

Pictures (provided by photoshop album):
no idea at all ... former version did allow to modify the twonky.ini file. The new one seems to be a binary file. How am I supposed to configure the file?

Thanks for any help ... never the less, I would definitely enjoy documentation ...
