Change location of log file : TwonkyMediaServer-log.txt

Post by peterfu » Fri Apr 24, 2009 6:05 pm

Does anybody know how I can change the location of the log file via command line parameter for the 5.x Servers - per default the log file is written to /tmp - I mainain a package for Thecus NAS devices (N5200, N7700) and the /tmp is on a very limited partition on the flash and fills it up very quickly if You don't take care to disable logging.

OK - have now found the solution myself.
Simply add the parameter
-logfile <some dir/log file name>
to the startup command
