Just for Your information:
The twonkyserver 5.0.61 does not handle proper the dbdir parameter of the ini file. Some files are still written to the default location of the db (/var/twonkymedia) - these are the files : byebye, db.info, clients.data, twonkymedia-locations.db - all other data of the database is written to the location given with the dbdir parameter.

5.0.65 fixes this. Look in the Beta/Unsupported builds section for download link.

Hi,
running version 5.0.65 on buffalo linkstation pro and the behavior is the same as described above. Some files stay at /var/twonkymedia but that's no problem for me (only some small files left in root file system).

The issue is solved now in Version 5.1 by introducing of the appdata startup parameter. Giving this parameter with a directory you can specify where all the application data (including database) are stored.
