I'm currently to connect from my Panasonic TV to media server running on Linux (Mandriva 2010) but am having no success.
The server seems to be running ok:
[root@localhost rc3.d]# ./S99twonkyserver status
TwonkyMedia server IS running.
and from the status page

Not streaming local files right now.
When I the media receivers page my TV isn't recognized automatically so I've added it explicitly from the drop-down list. When I try to access the media server from the TV I get 'Server not found' although it does sometimes display 'Coherence test content' in the server list. The network is wired.
However, if I run Twonky Server on my Android 'phone on the same network (wireless) the it all works fine.
Any ideas on how to get it to run properly on my Linux box?
Thanks.

Re: Getting started
Just to add to the above. The 'Coherence Test Content' and 'Apple Trailers' are listed as media servers on my TV with my machine's MAC address, so something is happening!
