Twonky 6.0.28 on Ubuntu Server + Sony Bravia

Post by ihop » Sat Jan 22, 2011 7:05 pm

Hi Community,

At first time sorry my english is not so good ;)

I have a little Ubuntu Server (10.10) on this Server run Twonky (6.0.28).
The Sony Bravia find every audio files (mp3) und pictures (jpeg).
In the video section shows me the TV only the folders and no videos (no video found).

If I have the videos on my Buffelo Linkstation (with DLNA Server) can i see the videos und watch them.

I have install ffmpeg und edit the ffmpeg.location file (/usr/bin)
In the WebUI in the section Endgeräte (sry but i dont know the english verb about this), I can see the Sony Bravia.

I hope you can help me

Stefan

I'd start by upgrading to 6.0.30 and see if that solves your problems.
No longer running Twonky

Hi

I have delete the twonky files an copy the 6.0.30 files in the same folder.
The WebUi say to my I have yet the 6.0.30 Version.

But I have the same Problem.

In the clients.db file stands

>>
NA:Sony Bravia
HH:BRAVIA
XM:DLNA15
TR:JPEG160x160,JPEG1920x1080
DB:FIX

Nothing about video is this corret because my Bravia can play Videos over DLNA.
