After I have set up all the media folders the server has spent some time indexing and then it crashed. After that every attempt to restart it leads to an immediate crash. The following section of the crash log may contain a clue to the developers:

I tried reinstall with cleaning the Twonky Library, but I'd always end with the same crash. Twonky 8.2.1 doesn't crash and I reverted to it

Hi,

when you enable logging - it should state in the log file which file it scans when it crashes.
You the could verify that it is that exact file by copying this file into a single folder and only sharing that folder. If the server crashes again - this is the file that is problematic.

If you can identify such a file it would be really helpful if you could send that one to help@lynxtechnology.com

I have a minimalistic case that crashes TwonkyServer 8.3 on my Mac. Download the zip file with the content from here, unzip it and try to share the unzipped folder.

For the record I have updated my El Capitan to 10.11.6 with all the security updates.
