not streaming!

I'm trying to run v8.5 on my Mac Pro OSx 10.11.6 to stream my music to Cambridge Audio NP30 via my wireless network. I've purchased a key and am logged in but I can't get Twonky to stream, Server up time is shown as 0 on the status page but start server is grey out the I click on the software icon at the top of the screen!.
Any advice much appreciated!
