macOS keeps nagging about accepting incoming network connections

Post by woodengod » Wed Mar 10, 2021 3:01 am

After I installed Twonky v8.5.2, the operating system (macOS Catalina with all the updates) keeps popping up a dialog for allowing the app to accept incoming network connections.

The dialog says:

Code: Select all

Do you want the application “Twonky.app” to accept incoming network connections?

Clicking Deny may limit the application’s behavior.
This setting can be changed in the Firewall pane of Security & Privacy preferences.
Allowing Twonky.app in the firewall settings in the System Preferences doesn't help. In the time of the starting I get in the system log the following

Code: Select all

Failed to copy signing info for 6818, responsible for file:///Applications/Twonky.app/Contents/MacOS/Twonky: #-67062: Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-67062 "(null)"
Anybody got a clue how to stop this behavior?
