I think I just waisted $40 (MAC PS3)

Post by scross28 » Wed Dec 26, 2007 5:41 pm

I'm running OSX Leopard and a PS3 (2.10)
The server disconnects and reconnects every minute.
I've tried manually setting the IP and everything is hard wired and I have the NIC checkbox unchecked but still dropping every minute.
This feels like beta software and we shouldn't be paying for beta software.
If anyone can guide me to a solution I would be very grateful.

Try to download 4.4.2.

4.4.3.1 is a total mess and does not work at all. I am in the same situation as you are and I'm waiting for an update

Looks interesting. No MAC binary though.
I guess DLNA is still in its infancy on the MAC.

Hi
Now that I managed to install Twonky 4.4.3.1
I have the same problems here
MacPro OS X 10.4.11
Wired Network
PS 3 2.1
and disconnecting all the time or even not finding the server sometimes

I am also very disapointed - because on the site it is stated that it SHOULD work !

Same problem here. Managed to install it by myself, repairing file rights. But there is a 30 seconds problem. The server keeps restarting.

Are we (Mac users) left alone ?

Hopefully a little friendly competition will help things move along :)
MediaLink is doing the trick for me so far.
